Arron Smith

Gas Director

Arron Smith co-leads the gas division alongside Warren Russell, overseeing managers and supervisors to ensure safe systems of work and consistently high health and safety standards across all sites. He plays a key role in driving the company’s commitment toward achieving net zero carbon emissions.

Arron began his career as an apprentice approximately 16 years ago and has since gained comprehensive experience in nearly every role within the business, equipping him with a well-rounded understanding of the industry and operations.

Recently welcoming a new addition to his family, Arron balances his professional responsibilities with his role as a dedicated father, bringing the same commitment and focus to both.​​​

Warren Russell

Gas Director

Warren Russell is the Gas Director, overseeing all aspects of domestic and commercial gas services within the company. With a career spanning approximately 25 years, Warren has worked his way through the ranks across various companies—from apprentice to fully qualified gas engineer.

Warren brings extensive hands-on experience and a deep technical knowledge of the trade. His practical expertise is complemented by a strong commitment to driving the company’s core values and maintaining the highest standards of workmanship on every site.

He takes great pride in delivering reliable, safe, and efficient gas solutions to clients while fostering a culture of professionalism and integrity throughout the team.

Outside of work, Warren enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters and is an avid golfer.

Joe Griffin

Electrical Director

As Electrical Director, I oversee the daily operations of our electrical division, working closely with managers and supervisors to ensure the highest standards are met across every project. My focus is on driving efficiency, embracing innovation, and continuously exploring ways to reduce our environmental impact as we work toward meaningful carbon reduction goals.

With a career that began as an apprentice straight out of school, I’ve had the privilege of learning the trade from the ground up. Over the years, I’ve taken on a wide range of roles across the electrical sector, building both technical expertise and leadership experience. That hands-on foundation, combined with an ambitious mindset, ultimately led me to pursue my long-standing goal of launching and growing a business of my own.

Our company specialises in mechanical and electrical services within the social housing sector, where we place the needs of tenants at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to delivering reliable, high-quality work while maintaining a strong sense of responsibility to the communities we serve.

Outside of work, I’m a proud family man with a wonderful wife and three children. Any spare time I get is dedicated to them — they’re my greatest motivation and support.

David Walters

Electrical Director

David Walters is an Electrical Director at the helm of our operations, working closely across the business to maintain high standards, drive innovation, and build lasting client relationships. As the company’s Qualified Supervisor with the NICEIC, David plays a critical role in ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards while promoting best practices across all projects.

David’s career journey began in a very different setting — working in a bank in Canary Wharf. Realising early on that this path wasn’t where his future lay, he made the decision to pursue a hands-on career in the electrical trade. Starting as an apprentice, David developed a deep understanding of the industry from the ground up, progressing steadily to become a fully qualified electrician and respected leader within the company.

His strategic oversight of operations and commitment to delivering client-focused solutions underpin his approach to leadership. David is also actively involved in exploring new technologies and more efficient ways of working, aligning with the company’s ongoing pursuit of innovation and improvement.

Away from the business, David is a dedicated family man. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, who continue to be his greatest source of pride and motivation.

Emma Griffin

Office Manager

I'm Emma Griffin, Office Manager at Aurum Contracts I’m responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the office and making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

With several years of experience in office management and administration, I focus on keeping things organised, efficient, and well-structured so the team can focus on what they do best. My role involves everything from overseeing daily operations and coordinating schedules to supporting staff and maintaining a productive working environment.

I’m practical, approachable, and always happy to help solve a problem or find a better way to do things. Whether it’s handling the day-to-day details or stepping in during a busy moment, I’m here to keep the office running smoothly.
